Wayne Herbert Smith

Wayne Herbert Smith, of Middleburg, Virginia, peacefully passed away on Thursday, June 4, 2026.  Wayne was a proud Vietnam War Veteran, who served honorably in the US Army, and known for his kind, loving, and generous soul.  His warm and loving spirit will live forever.  He leaves behind his three loving nieces, Tonya Turner, Sylvia Romeo, and Yolanda Allen, a host of cousins and close friends.  He will deeply be missed.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, from 10 am until 11 am with funeral services starting at 11 am at Shiloh Baptist Church, 304 E. Marshall St., Middleburg, VA, 20117.  Rev. Herman Nelson will deliver the eulogy.  

Interment with military honors will be in the Solon Cemetery, Middleburg, VA.
