Timothy Glenn Lewis

Timothy Glenn Lewis was born January 11, 1965, in Warrenton, Virginia, to Irene Lola Moore and the late Albert Pacy Lewis.  He departed his life on May 8, 2024, at his home surrounded by family.

Timmy was baptized at an early age at First Springs Baptist Church.

He worked at Fauquier County Water Sanitation Authority for 16 years.  For many years Timmy picked up work release inmates from Fauquier County jail which he consider a rehabilitation  program for those incarcerated.

Timmy was well known for his masonry and landscaping work all around Warrenton.  Any side job you wanted done Timmy was the one to call.  He had a great passion for fishing not sure whose passion was the strongest his or his wife’s especially since she always caught the biggest fish.

Timmy was a diehard Washington Redskins fan not Commanders as they are called today.  If the Redskins were playing there was no need to call him because you would not get an answer.

With many beautiful memories, Timmy is survived by his wife, Brenda Lewis: two children: Joseph Lewis (Tomi Kay) of Warrenton, Virginia and Treyvon Shelton of Warrenton, Virginia;  two sisters; Sheila Burditte (Elwin) of San Antonio Texas, Kim Coachman of Warrenton, Virginia; and one brother, Brian Moore (Christina) of Warrenton Virginia.  He is also survived by one grandchild, Cayden Lewis; a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Timmy had a very special bond with his cousin, Kevin Nichols. When it came to barn fires, horse shoes, jenga and, cornhole the “Woods” as the called it down in Tall Timbers was the place they would be.

The family will receive friends on Friday, May 17, 2024, from 11 AM until 12 PM with funeral services starting at 12 PM at Faith Christian Church, 6472 Duhollow Road, Warrenton,VA, 20187. Dr. Decker H. Tapscott, S. will deliver the eulogy.
