Shirley Meadows Simpson

Shirley was born to the Reverend John Tilden Meadows and Annie Elizabeth Meadows (née Welford) in Pembroke Virginia. She is survived by her daughter, Susan Dent (Dr. C Daniel Dent) of Oakton Virginia; her son, Randall  Simpson of Hendersonville North Carolina; her granddaughter, Laura Buice (Erik Buice); and her great granddaughters: Noelle Buice and Ainsley Buice of Fairfax Virginia.

She will be remembered as a kind, loving and generous soul who persevered through many challenges with courage and grace. Nana’s life is evidence that a good life is measured, not so much in what you have achieved, but by what you have overcome.
