Rev. Emerson Eugene Ellis, Sr.

Rev. Emerson Eugene Ellis, Sr.,73, of Springfield, VA, was called home to be with the Lord on November 5, 2020.  He was born on March 1, 1947.  

Rev. Ellis is survived by his wife, Wanda C. Ellis of Springfield, VA; two daughters, Maureen (John) Saunders of Washington, DC, Ashley Clark of Springfield, VA; two sons: Emerson (Shelley) Ellis, Jr. of Waldorf, MD, Eaunte Ellis of Washington, DC; three sisters: Ethel Williams of Forrestville, MD, Ida Lou (John) Young of Temple Hills, MD, Lillian Black of Trenton, SC; one brother, Melvin (Arretter) Franklin of Herndon, VA; 7 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
 
A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 13, 2020, at 12:30 pm, at Fairfax Memorial Park, 9900 Braddock Road, Fairfax, VA 22032.
