Rev. Douglas L. Gore, 75, of Culpeper, VA, passed October 30, 2024. He was born on September 23, 1949.
He was a US Army veteran, retired from the US Postal Service after over 41 years of service, and the Pastor of the Beulah Baptist Church, Markham, VA for over 34 years.
Rev. Gore is survived by his wife, Rev. Janice K. Gore of Culpeper, VA; two sons: Adrian Gore of Triangle, VA, Larry Shaw, Jr. of Hughesville, MD; six daughters: Shela (Scott) Vereen of Little River, SC, Tamillia Gore of Upper Marlboro, MD, Tammy (Marcus) Andrews of King George, VA, Damika Gore of Washington, DC, Saundria Gore of Greenville, SC, Amanda (Christian) Jones of Frederick, MD; two brothers: Alton Gore of Columbia, SC, Michael Randall of Hampton, VA; four sisters: Linda Graves of Newport News, VA, Patricia (Jerry) Ross of Charlottesville, VA, Sandra Pittman of Newport News, VA, Pamela (Wayne) Jarvis of Wake Forest, NC; and 21 grandchildren.
Family will receive friends on Saturday, November 9, 2024, from 9:00 am until 11:00 am with funeral services starting at 11 am, at Beulah Baptist Church, 3124 Beulah Road, Markham, VA, 22643. Interment will be in Mt. Morris Community Cemetery, Hume, VA.
