Philip Guy Mintry Sims, Jr.

Philip Guy Mintry Sims, Jr., 82, of Marshall, VA, passed January 27, 2023.  He was born on December 16, 1940.  
 
Philip is survived by his wife, Lillian M. Sims of Marshall, VA; two daughters: Tomika M. Bay of Marshall, VA, Sarah Hill of Marshall, VA; three brothers: Walter (Kate) Sims of Front Royal, VA, Earnest Sims of Broad Run, VA, James M. (Doris) Sims of Purcellville, VA; and two grandchildren: Dashawn Hill and Talib Bay both of Marshall, VA; .
 
Family will receive friends on Saturday, February 18, 2023, from 10 am until 11 am with funeral services starting at 11 am at Salem Baptist Church, 4172 Rosstown Lane, Marshall, VA, 20115. Rev. Leroy H. Stewart will deliver the eulogy.
 
Interment will be in Mt. Zion Memorial Park, Middleburg, VA.
