Mary Virginia (Timbers) Payne

Mary Virginia Payne, 82, of Marshall, VA, passed January 16, 2024.
 
She was born on August 10, 1941, was preceded in death by her husband, William Hampton Payne.

Mary is survived by a daughter, Linda (Olugbenga) Akintilerewa of Culpeper, VA; one sister, Katherine Ball of The Plains, VA; two grandsons; one granddaughter; and one great-grandchild. She was also preceded in death by two sons: Floyd and William Payne and two brothers: Joseph and Howard Timbers; and one granddaughter.
 
Due to cemetery conditions because to the weather, graveside service will be moved and held on Friday, January 26, 2024, 12:00 pm, at Joynes Funeral Home, 29 N. Third St., Warrenton, VA, 20186.

Burial will take place right after the service.
