Louise Packer Brantley of Gainesville, VA passed on October 29, 2020. She was born October 2, 1926, in Detroit, Michigan. She was the third oldest of eight children born to George M. and Florence Packer of Ferndale, Michigan. She married William A. Brantley in 1946 and one son and two daughters were born to this union.
She was a homemaker whose joy in life were her children, her grandchildren, and her family. She loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and after relocating to Virginia, she joined Life Connection Church where she was beloved by her church family. She departed this life on October 29, 2020 peacefully in her sleep. She leaves to cherish , her memory two daughters, Kathleen Brantley-Richards (Robert), and Victoria Curry (Harry); five grandchildren, Renee Louise VanNifterik (Peter), Erik V. Brantley, Rachel Louise Coppola (Louis), Reginald W. Brantley, and Michael W. Curry; two great-grandsons, Erik V. Brantley Jr. and Joseph H. Coppola as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 5, 2020, from 10 am until at 12 pm with funeral services starting at 12 PM at Joynes Funeral Home, 29 N. Third St., Warrenton, VA 20186. Interment will be in Bright View Cemetery, Warrenton, VA.
