Linda Lou Dade, 65, of The Plains, VA, passed November 30, 2024. She was born on July 28, 1959 and was a member of Beulah Baptist Church, Markham, VA.
Linda leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Theodore "Teddy" Dade of The Plains, VA; a daughter, Michele Thornley of Alexandria, VA; daughters: Atoya Dade of Atlanta, GA and Adia Stribling of Stephens City, VA; siblings: Vernon Thornley, Jr. (Gary Spiggle) of Marshall, VA, James E. Thornley (Debbie Thornley) of Bealeton, VA, Michael Thornley (Debbie McLucas) of Marshall, VA, Pamela Thornley of Marshall, VA; sisters-in-law: Avis Jackson (Jim) of Pittsburgh, PA and Diane Jackson (Mike) of Front Royal, VA; grandchildren: Sentuan Phillips, Aniyah Sturgis and Victor Stribling; two nieces: Alisha Summers and Kyndra Adams; grandnephews: Toussaint Summers, Xavier Summers, Zaire Rector; aunts: Maria Brooks and Mary Gaskins, a special friend, Ann Bland, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
Linda was preceded in death by parents: Vernon and Ruth Thornley; daughter, Anisha Dade; mother-in-law, Jerry Ann Dade; and a son-in-law, Rev. Verdice Stribling.
Family will receive friends Saturday, December 14, 2024, from 10 am until 11 am with funeral services starting at 11 am at Mt. Olive Baptist Church, 2932 Atoka Road, Rectortown, VA, 20140. Rev. Leroy Stewart will officiate and Rev. Reginald Bryant will deliver the eulogy.

Interment will be in the Westview Cemetery, Upperville, VA.
