Lillian Lee (Peterson) Blackwell

Lillian Lee Blackwell, 82, of Gainesville, VA, passed May 2, 2024.    She was born on October 7, 1941, and was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Warren Blackwell.

Lillian was a retired school teacher for the Prince William County public schools and a member of  Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, Gainesville, VA.

Lillian is survived by a son, Warren Blackwell of Gainesville, VA; one brother, Henry (Mae) Peterson of Bristow, VA; and one sister, Naomi I. (Samuel) Smith of Gainesville, VA.
 
Family will receive friends on Thursday, May 16, 2024, from 10 am until 11 am with funeral services starting at 11 am at the Northern Virginia Baptist Center, 14019 Glenkirk Road, Gainesville, VA, 20156.  Rev. George Carlisle will deliver the eulogy.
 
Interment will be in Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery, Gainesville, VA.
