Leon Edward Walker

Leon Edward Walker, 79, of New Kent, VA formerly of Warrenton, VA, passed December 22, 2025.   He was born on November 30, 1946.  

Leon was an honorably discharged veteran of the US Army.
  
Leon is survived by his wife, Catherine Walker of New Kent, VA; one daughter, Tera Walker of Delaplane, VA; a step daughter, Mary Kirkpatrick of New Kent, VA, one nephew, Kelly O. Walker of Warrenton, VA; and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Eddie and Margaret "Dolly" Walker; one brother, Charles Walker; and one sister, Martha Walker.
  
Family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, from 10 am until 11 am with funeral services starting at 11 am at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church, 33 S. Third St, Warrenton, VA, 20186.  Pastor Keith McCullough will deliver the eulogy.
  
Interment will be in Culpeper National Cemetery, VA.
