Lauretta Gertrude (Davenport) Craig

Lauretta Gertrude Craig, 66, of Bealeton, VA, passed January 15, 2021.  She was born on July 16, 1954.

Gertrude was a retired postal worker and a faithful partner of Faith Christian Church in Warrenton.

She is survived by her husband, Gene Craig of Bealeton, VA; a daughter, Genell (Michael) Craig-Sisk of Marshall, VA; one son, Devon (Melonee) Craig of Warrenton, VA; her father, Earnest Benimon, Sr. of Warrenton, VA; four sisters: Sheila, Tabitha and Regina Marr all of Washington, DC, and Elizabeth (Michael) Riley of Warrenton, VA; three brothers: Michael Smoot of Washington, DC, Andrew Benimon of Warrenton, VA, Franklin Benimon of Warrenton, VA; and 4 grandchildren.
 
A viewing will be held on Tuesday, January 26, 2021, from 11am - 12 pm, Faith Christian Church, 6472 Duhollow Road, Warrenton, Virginia, 20187.  Due to the gathering limitations, all attending are asking to view and immediately exit the building.  Private funeral services will follow at12:00 pm.  Dr. Decker H. Tapscott, Sr. will deliver the eulogy.

Interment will be in Bright View Cemetery, Warrenton, VA.
