Kevin Alexis Murray

Kevin Alexis Murray, 54, departed this life on Saturday, January 14th, 2023, at his residence in Bristow, Virginia. He was born October 19, 1968, to Gail Murray and Charles "Chuck" Tapscott.

Kevin graduated from Culpeper County High School 1987 and went on to have a long and successful career in the automotive services industry, most recently for Ted Britt Ford of Fairfax. Kevin was a dedicated employee and enjoyed helping his customers. When he wasn't working, Kevin enjoyed fishing and watching the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Kevin is survived by wife of 27 years, Nancy Murray; his twin sons: Jordan and Jason Murray; his brother, Shawn Murray (LaShaun); two sisters: LaTanya Jones (Charles) and Towanda Bizzell and his father, Charles "Chuck" Tapscott (Daleria).  He also leaves a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins to mourn his passing.  Kevin was preceded in death by his mother, Gail Murray; his sister, Marlease (Tootie) Murray; his grandfather, William Morgan; and grandmother Lillian Morgan.

Family will received friends on Thursday, January 26, 2023, from 3 pm to 5 pm at Joynes Funeral Home, 29 N. Third St., Warrenton, VA, 20186.

Interment will be private.
