James Randolph Stringfellow

James Randolph Stringfellow, 78, of Bealeton, VA, passed November 11, 2023.  He was born on July 5, 1945.   

James worked for many years at the Warrenton Training Center.  He was also chairman of the Deacon Board at Beulah Baptist Church, Broad Run, VA.

James was baptized by the late Rev. James E. Brown. He attended Sunday School and studied to become a Deacon at Beulah Baptist Church.  He was a William C. Taylor High School graduate alumnus.  James loved serving the Lord anywhere he could. He sang with the Beulah Men’s Chorus where he loved singing and praising God and he also was part of the Deacons Coalition.  James was an honest, God-fearing man who loved working with his hands whether it was cars, homes, and mowing grass he would fix anything. He was all about family and friends and would do anything for anybody at any time.

James is survived by two sons: James A. Stringfellow of Locust Grove, VA, Jermale Stringfellow of Radcliff, KY; a daughter, Melissa Stringfellow of Fairfax, VA; four sisters: Gloria Dean of Warrenton, VA, Betty (Al) Abrams of Dalzell, SC, Diane (Sheldon) Bushrod of Warrenton, VA, and Geraldine Gaskins of Front Royal, VA; and a brother, Thomas Stringfellow of Remington, VA.
 

Family will receive friends on Saturday, November 18, 2023, from 10 am until 11 am with funeral services starting at 11 am at Beulah Baptist Church, 6049 Pilgrims Rest Road, Broad Run, VA, 20137. Rev. H. Dwight Shorts will officiate and Rev. Verdice Stribling will deliver the eulogy.  

Interment will be in Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery, Broad Run, VA.
