Franklin William Sanker, Sr.

Franklin William Sanker, Sr., 95, of Warrenton, VA, passed January 29, 2022.
 

He was born on August 23, 1926, and was preceded in death by his wife, Mattie Sanker and two sons: Franklin W. Sanker, Jr. and Charles Sanker.

Franklin is survived by two sons: Robert Sanker, George Sanker both of Warrenton, VA; two step sons: John "Bobby" Coram and William "Jack" Coram both of Warrenton, VA; sister, Catherine Gaines of Atlanta, GA; sister-in-law, Adelean Harris of Warrenton, VA; 16 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
 
A viewing will be held on Tuesday, February 8, 2022, from 11 am until 12 pm with funeral services starting at 12 pm at Waterloo Baptist Church, 9535 Old Waterloo Road, Warrenton, VA, 20186.  Rev. Robert L. Jones will deliver the eulogy.
 
Interment will be in Culpeper National Cemetery, Culpeper, VA.
