Frances Ann Gasper-Fields

Frances Ann Gasper-Fields, age 72, of Manassas, VA, a beloved mother of three children, passed peacefully on Tuesday, May 6, 2025.  

Born in West Virginia on April, 27, 1953, she was an eccentric woman who lived in a variety of places leaving her mark each place she lived. She was an RN for over 30 years with a passion for psychiatric nursing, she touched many lives and made a difference wherever she practiced with most of her time spent caring for patients at The Washington Hospital Center. Frances will be deeply missed by her family, who will remember her for her love for horses, creek walking, beach time, rock ‘n’ roll, literature, cats and family time.

Frances was a free spirit who lived her life on her own terms and loved a good time celebrating life itself.

She leaves behind her loving husband, Charles Joseph Fields, Sr.; her daughters: Michele Rae Gasper and Marisha Gasper Young; her son, Charles Joseph Fields, Jr. and her five grandchildren: Skyler Creek Mingo, Tyler Michele Young, Kendal Ann Young, Alana Nova Fields and Jada Capri Fields. Frances was also a beloved "Tee Tee" to her adopted son, Amari Holman. She also leaves behind her two brothers: Gregory Lloyd Gasper and Frederick Ray Gasper; her nephew, Matthew Ryan Gasper; and her nieces: Kara and Naomi Oceana Gasper. Frances was proceeded in death by her mother, Olga Rae Gasper; her father, William Charles Gasper; her brothers: William Charles Gasper, II and Daniel Wade Gasper; her nephews: Adrien Gumpert and Andrew William Gasper.
