Emily Catherine Champ, 75, of Marshall, VA, passed July 30, 2022.
She was born on August 25, 1946, and was preceded in death by her husband, Walter D. Champ.
Emily retired from Taylor Middle School, Warrenton, VA, where she worked for many years as an administrative assistant.
Emily is survived by four daughters: Angela M. (Kevin) Champ-Folkes of Gainesville, VA, Melissa Champ of Washington, DC, Patricia Champ of Warrenton, VA, Tracey Stancell of Springfield, VA; a son, Warren S. Champ of Woodbridge, VA; four brothers: Garland (Wanda) Jackson of NC, Alonso Lansdowne of Warsa, VA, Joseph Cooke of Blacksburg, VA, Maurice (Tiah) Carter of Woodbridge, VA; 6 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.
Family will receive friends on Friday, August 5, 2022, from 10 am until 11 am with funeral services starting at 11 am at Faith Christian Church, 6472 Duhollow Road, Warrenton, VA, 20187. Bishop Frederick Jones will deliver the eulogy.
