Elmore Dixon Jones, Jr.

Elmore Dixon Jones, Jr., 71, of Stanardsville, VA, passed April 30, 2026.  He was born on February 6, 1955.   
  
Elmore is survived by his wife, Helen V. Jones of Stanardsville, VA; two sons: Elmore Jones, III of Standansville, VA and Anthony Jones of Stanardsville, VA; five sisters: Christine Scott of Woodbridge, VA, Galya Jones of Charlotte, NC, Gale Jones both of Charlene Jones of Woodbridge, VA and  Cheryl Bell of Clifton, VA; and a brother, Edward Ford of Virginia.
  
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 23, 2026, 12 pm, at Joynes Funeral Home, 29 N. Third St., Warrenton, Virginia, 20186.   Bishop Willie Johnson will deliver the eulogy.
