Daniel Lewis Thompson, Jr.

Daniel Lewis Thompson, Jr., 83, of Marshall, VA, passed February 25, 2023.  He was born on March 22, 1939.   
 
Daniel is survived by his wife, Ellen I. Thompson of Marshall, VA; a daughter, Laurie (Bryant) Green of Delaplane, VA; two sons: Daniel Thompson, III of Glenn Burnie, MD and David H. (Ylonka) Thompson of Haymarket, VA; three sisters: Joyce Pelham of Alexandria, VA, Jacqueline Roberts and Shirley Thompson both of Fairfax, VA; and a brother, Dwight (Earline) Thompson of King George, VA; nine grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
 
Family will receive friends on Monday, March 6, 2023, from 11 am until 12 pm with funeral services starting at 12 pm at Mt. Nebo Baptist Church, 4679 Free State Road, Marshall, VA, 20115.
 
Interment will be in Green Family Cemetery, Delaplane, VA.
