Carroll Robert Winston

Carroll Robert Winston, 83, of Warrenton, VA, passed July 31, 2023.   He was born on April 14, 1940.

Carroll was a baker for 43 years at Knakal's Bakery in Culpeper, VA.

He is survived by a son, Douglas Wade (Peaches) Winston; two sisters: Helen (Rayphiel) Grayson and Dorothy McNeil; two grandchildren: Mary E. Winston and Cammi Winston; and two great-grandsons: Israel and Kaidan.  He was preceded in death by a his wife, Peggy Winston; and a son Carroll "Drew" Winston. 

Family will receive friends on Thursday, August 10, 2023, from 11 am until 12 pm with funeral services starting at 12 pm at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church, 33 S. Third St, Warrenton, VA, 20186.  Rev. Richard Jones will deliver the eulogy.

Interment will be in Bright View Cemetery, Warrenton, VA.
