Carrie Elizabeth Washington, 101, of Bealeton, VA, passed May 9, 2026, at her residence. She was born on November 18, 1924, and was preceded in death by her husband, Minor Washington, Sr.

Carrie was a member of St. James Baptist Church, Bealeton, VA.

She is survived by four sons, Minor (Alice) Washington Jr. of Chelteham, MD, David Washington of Bealeton, VA, Lonnie Washington of Clinton, MD, Rev. Reese (Stepheny) Washington of Lignum, VA; three daughters: Alice Elizabeth Jackson of Bealeton, VA, Mary (Ganson) Mingo of Ft. Mill, SC, and Ruth E. Pugh of Clinton, MD.

Family will receive friends on Saturday, May 30, 2026, from 10 am until 11 am with funeral services starting at 11 am at Faith Christian Church, 6472 Duhollow Road, Warrenton, VA, 20187. Rev. Reese Washington will deliver the eulogy.

Interment will be in St. James Baptist Church Cemetery, Bealeton, VA.
