Bessie Freeman Grigsby

Bessie Freeman Grigsby, 87, of Washington, VA, passed August 27, 2023. She was born on May 23, 1936, and was preceded in death by her husband William M. Grigsby; and daughter, Angela D. Carter.

Bessie is survived by a son, Carl L. Grigsby of Gainesville, VA; three daughters: Sharron Proper, Gwendolynn "Wendi" and Susan Grigsby all of Washington, VA.
 
Family will receive friends on Friday, September 8, 2023, from 11:00 am until 12 pm with funeral services starting at 12 pm at Faith Christian Church, 6472 Duhollow Road, Warrenton, VA, 20187.  Dr. Decker Tapscott, Sr. will officiate and Rev. Ronald Chunn will deliver the eulogy.

Interment will be in Grigsby Cemetery, Washington, VA.
