Annettea is survived by three sons: David L. Shorts, Jr. of Brandy Station, VA, Robert Shorts of Stafford, VA, and Thomas Nicholson; two sisters, Helen Louise Nicholson of Ft. Washington, MD, Wendy Benson of Temple Hills, MD; four grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
