Angela R Green-Wills, known affectionately as Angie, passed away on June 27, 2024, at the age of 65. She was born on October 14, 1958, in Charleston, SC, and had most recently resided in Fredericksburg, VA.
Angie had a zest for life and enjoyed various hobbies. She loved exploring new places and indulging in the beauty of sightseeing. Gospel music held a special place in her heart, and she could often be found listening to her favorite bands and artists. Watching movies was another of her favorite pastimes, providing her with moments of joy and entertainment. Above all, spending time with her family brought her immense happiness.
Angie had a particular affinity for the culinary delight of Ox Tail, savoring its rich flavors. She was known for her loving and caring nature, and her genuine presence left a lasting impact on all who knew her. Her grandchildren held a special place in her heart, and there was nothing she cherished more than spending time with them.
Professionally, Angie had worked as a Medication Tech, utilizing her skills and knowledge to make a difference in the lives of others. Her proudest accomplishments were witnessing her children succeed and thrive.
Angie's life motto reflected her unwavering faith, as she firmly believed that "God can do it when no one else can." Her legacy will be remembered through her love for her family, her compassion for others, and the joy she brought to those around her.
Angela is survived by her husband: Kenneth Wills, Sr, 5 children: Michela Scipio (Damian), Yahzel Cheatham, Juanita Wills (Jamel), William Green and Kenneth Wills, Jr.; her sister, Stephanie Scott, and a brother, Shawn Brown. She was also an amazing grandmother to her 5 grandchildren: Solomon Scipio, Kenya Queen, Jamel White, Jr, Ja’Nadia White, Jamal Wills-White; and 3 great-grandchildren who will continue on her legacy of faith and love. Angela was also preceded in death by a son, Michael Green, Jr.; a brother, Stacey Green; and a granddaughter, Ja’Leyah Wills-White.
Angela R Green-Wills will be dearly missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those whose lives she touched with her warmth, kindness and faith.
