Alphonso Ford Carter, Sr.

Rev. Alphonso Ford Carter, Sr., 77, of Reston, VA, passed on November 25, 2022.  He was born on September 30, 1945, and was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Frances Carter.

Rev. Carter is survived by two sons: James A. (Ellenor) Carter of Palmetto, FL, Aphonso Carter, Jr. of Reston, VA; four sisters: Ella Washington of Bealeton, VA, Mary (Billy) Williams of Herndon, VA, Laverne Carter of Bealeton, VA, Delores Carter of Sterling, VA; three brothers: John (Joynce) Carter of Warrenton, VA, Thomas (Paulette) Carter of Bristow, VA, Tony Carter of Reston, VA; 3 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
 
Family will receive friends on Thursday, December 1, 2022, from 11 am  from 12 pm with services at 12pm at Faith Christian Church, 6472 Duhollow Road, Warrenton, VA, 20187.  Rev. Harold Hassie Howard will deliver the eulogy.
 
Interment will be in Mt. Zion Memorial Park, Middleburg, VA.
